Godrej Consumer Products, a publicly traded consumer goods company in India, acquired Strength of Nature of Savannah, Georgia in a deal announced April 1, 2016 and closed April 27, 2016. Strength of Nature was doing roughly $95 million a year selling hair care built for Black women across about 50 countries.
